Thank you to Jo, who recommended monitoring my blood pressure. I was advised to wear a ABPM monitor for the day to read my blood pressure and results were sent electronically to my GP.

Yes. We offer a range of vaccinations, including the NHS flu jab (for eligible patients) and selected private travel and health vaccinations.

Do you provide blood tests (phlebotomy)?

Yes. If your GP has given you a blood test form, you can have your blood taken at selected branches. The results are sent directly to your GP. Book online or pop in store.

Can I get free emergency contraception from the pharmacy?

Yes. We provide FREE emergency contraception after a confidential consultation with the pharmacist.

What is the NHS Oral Contraception Service?

This service allows trained pharmacists to provide ongoing supplies of the contraceptive pill without you needing to see your GP every time. No appointment is needed.

Can pharmacists prescribe medicines?

Yes. For the conditions covered by Pharmacy First, our pharmacists can supply prescription-only medicines where appropriate. If Pharmacy First isn’t suitable, we’ll advise you on the best next steps.
